Flying trough the first days

Hi all,
so here I'm with mine first Canadian post. The flight up here to Halifax was both fantastic as tiring and the landing on London Heathrow was rather rough, though the airport transfer was rather nice. After arriving at the youth hostel I spend some time wandering around the city in a light drizzle, which made me feel home directly. Today I went up to the Citadel, a 19th century British fortress, with a couple of guys from the youth hostel. I'll be joining them tomorrow on a trip to Peggy's Cove as well. For tonight there will be a visit with mine guest family, where I probably will stay for the night....if they don't reject me after seeing my face ;) Later on this week I'll try to upload some jealous making pictures of Halifax and surroundings. You'll hear from me soon.

Hoi Erik,
Had even een foutje gemaakt met m'n vorig berichtje, je snapt wel dat i.p.v.Erik er Christian moest staan.als afzender.
Ze zullen je wel niet buiten gooien denk ik hoor in dat gastgezin. Wij kijken toch ook al 24 jaar tegen dat gezicht. ( grapje )
Maar heel veel plezier nog. We zijn blij dat je goed bent aangekomen in Canada, het is toch een hele onderneming.
